Yemeni army units foiled an attempt by Iranian-backed Houthi militia to infiltrate into the Yemeni-army-controlled southern province of Dali. A military source said that the army forces successfully deceived to lure groups of terrorist militia to sneak into Zubayrat area in the Directorate of Qataba north of Dali province before attacking them. During the ambush, a senior militia leader named Ali Abdullah Al-Anzi, nicknamed Abu Bakil, along with seven of his companions fell captive in the hands of the Yemeni national army forces. In addition, other elements were killed or wounded.
