Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has stressed the importance of strengthening the strategic partnership between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Japan, lauding the Kingdom's roles in peace and stability in the region. The Japanese Prime Minister described Saudi-Japanese relations as important, and being played crucial roles in peace and stability in the region, expressing his country's pleasure over the achievements being made by the KSA's vision, noting that he felt such change when he visited the Kingdom in 2013. The Prime Minister said in an interview published by the Middle East newspaper today that he is working closely with His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense on bilateral cooperation, in addition to regional and international affairs, and he is looking forward to a very useful exchange of views with HRH Crown Prince on ways to strengthen bilateral relations and cooperation at the G20 summit to be hosted by Japan in Osaka next two days and will be hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia next year
