Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Riyadh and Al-Yaum newspapers said in their editorials that the rational and prudent call made by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz during his chairing the Cabinet's regular session on Tuesday to the international community for taking necessary actions and firm measures to maintain the safety of international navigation has reflected the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's keenness on the security, stability and sovereignty of the countries of the region. The papers noted that the call for working to maintain safety of oil tankers in territorial waters of the region and carrying Arabian Gulf oil to many countries in the world also reflects the Kingdom's keenness on maintaining the interests of the world's economic countries and not being fallen in any crisis. The papers added that the Iranian aggression on these vessels as in the Gulf of Oman and off Fujairah Port is a flagrant violation of the international navigation carried out by the Iranian regime.
