A moderate earthquake struck the Philippines' eastern coast on Thursday, but no damage or injuries were reported, a government agency said. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the earthquake, with a magnitude of 3.8, was felt at intensity four in the provinces of Albay and Sorsogon. The institute said the epicenter of the earthquake was located off the coast of Virac town in nearby Catanduanes province, 375 kilometers southeast of Manila.
