Custodian of Two Holy Mosques addresses Citizens and Muslims on the Advent of Holy Month of Ramadan

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud delivered a speech this evening to his fellow citizens and Muslims everywhere on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan 1440 H.
In the speech, read on the media by the Minister of Media Turki bin Abdullah Al-Shabanah, the Monarch expressed thanks to The Almighty for giving living Muslims once more a precious chance to attend the holy month of mercy and forgiveness, appealing to Allah to help all Ramadan worshippers perform an easy fasting and gain an accepted worshipping.
Also, the King thanked God Almighty for blessing the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to have become the cradle of Islam as the message of Islam has been launched from its land, dedicating it to serve the two holy mosques and those who come to visit and worship them and offered it the best potentials to provide state-of-the-art services for pilgrims, Umrah performers and prophet's visitors.
He recalled that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, has since its establishment by late King Abdulaziz, may Allah have mercy on him, taken upon itself the service of Islam and Islamic issues, and all that contributes to spreading this religion of tolerance and moderation.
After the world was afflicted by the ravages of extremism and terrorism, the Kingdom turned to them with all its might and determination, calling for dialogue, rejection of violence and up-rooting the sources terrorism, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques affirmed, advising his fellow worshippers to avail themselves of this opportunity to offer as much as good deeds during the days and nights of this holy month, following the suit of Prophet Mohammed (pbuh).
