Speaker of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's Shura Council Dr. Sheikh Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh congratulated Iraq on recovery and restoring its international role. Addressing parliaments' conference Iraq playing host to, nowadays, as he led the Saudi delegation to the gathering, he lauded Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HRH Crown efforts exerted to enhance and consolidate bilateral relations, pointing to the latest developments, notably following a recently concluded visit of the Iraqi Prime Minister Adel Abdulmahdi to Riyadh, as he led a top level accompanying delegation, as a promising gesture for further promoting their relations to best serve the interest of their peoples and realize their mutual interests. As he conveyed greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, HRH Crown Prince and the Saudi people to the Iraqi leadership, government and people, he wished them all success in maintaining stability and security, concluding by expressing utmost pleasure at visiting the country as it recovered and resumed its role, on the regional as well as the international arenas.
