Indonesian Minister of Education Professor Muhadjir Effendy reasserted the fraternal and historical relations between the two peoples of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Indonesian Republic, through time, and that these relations have witnessed, since the reigns of King Abdulaziz Al Saud, through his successors - sons and kings - up to the reigns of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, steady progress. These relations, nowadays, are witnessing their golden era, the minister pointed out, reminding that the government of the Kingdom was among the first and foremost governments and states to recognize the independence of Indonesia, in 1945. In a press statement the minister has made on Friday, as he was visiting the pavilion of the Indonesian Republic, which is the Guest of Honor, during Janadriyah 23 edition, he expressed appreciation of the Kingdom for selecting his country to play the role of the guest of honor, in the festival, considering the gesture as a precious opportunity that various nations are yearning to capitalize on, and adding that Indonesia will do its utmost to utilize such a chance to introduce cultural richness and potentials of the Indonesian people to the visitors of Janadriyah 23, under the motto: Unity in Diversity, to Consolidate World Moderation and Peace.
