President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received here today visiting Governor of the Saudi General Investment Authority (GIA) Eng. Ibrahim bin Abdulrahman Al-Omar, in the presence of the Saudi Ambassador to Azerbaijan Dr. Hamad Al-Khidhair. During the reception, Al-Omar conveyed greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HRH Crown Prince to the President, in addition to their wishing for fraternal Azerbaijan to entertain steady progress and prosperity, in all fields. He also expressed utmost gratitude and appreciation of the country for the reception and hospitality accorded to the delegation, in a way that reflect the profound relations binding the two fraternal countries and peoples. For his part, the president expressed thanks and appreciation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and HRH Crown Prince for the great support provided by the Kingdom to Azerbaijan, in many domains, hailing the role played by enterprises sectors, in the two countries, to boost bilateral relations and concluding by stressing Azeri side efforts to facilitate promoting mutual investments and increase the volume of bilateral trade exchange. The Saudi delegation is currently visiting Azerbaijan for a 3-day meetings of the 5th session of the Saudi-Azeri Joint Committee, which was kicked off here today.
