SPA The Sudanese President lauded the solidarity of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with Sudan and the relief assistance extended by it to the displaced people in Darfur, West of Sudan. Al-Basheer briefed the delegation on the dimensions of the problem of Darfur, and said 'unfortunately certain quarters of the international media have been trying to project the problem of Darfur as a big human tragedy.' On his part, Dr Al-Turki reiterated the readiness of the MWL to positively contribute to extending humanitarian assistance to the people of Darfur.
