The Saudi Special Olympics mission collected 40 medals as it concluded its participation in Abu-Dhabi International Games 2019. Saudi Arabia has dispatched a 50-athlete team, the Kingdom's largest in its history's participation in such events, including 29 males and 21 females who received unlimited support of HRH Princess Sarah bint Mash-hoor bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, wife of HRH the Crown Prince of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The team snatched 18 gold medals, nine silver and 13 bronze, said Dr. Hyde Alaaddin Al-Askari, Assistant Leader of the Saudi delegation to the Olympic games, who extended her thanks to and appreciation of Princess Sarah for her support for the team, resulting in unprecedented successes.
