Saudi Arabia won six more medals — three gold, one silver, two bronze — at the Special Olympics Athens 2011 World Games Sunday to bring its medals tally to 20. Saudi athlete Talea Al-Yami won 100m gold, while Mohammad Al-Fehaid claimed javelin gold and long jump bronze medals. In the pool Mohammad Al-Shahrani won the gold medal in 50m butterfly, while the Saudi 4x25 team of Mohammad Al-Shahrani, Abdullah Al-Shahrani, Maazen Al-Adad and Ali Al-Qahtani won silver. In all Saudi athletes claimed 12 gold medals, one silver and 7 bronze. More than 7,500 special athletes from 185 countries took part in the Games which began June 25 and will end Monday.
