The Organizing Committee of the Saudi Water Forum (SWF) 2019, which will by organized by the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture during 17-19/3/2019, has concluded its preparations for the launch of the forum. It will be held under the patronage of Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture Eng. Abdulrahman bin Abdulmohsin Al-Fadhli, at Hotel Fairmont in Riyadh. The Forum, entitled "Water for Sustainable Development", will discuss the future efforts and trends of the Kingdom's water sector, including water desalination, distribution, investment, policies and legislation, within the framework of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 and the National Water Strategy. The Saudi Water Forum aims to enhance the sustainable development of the water sector, exchange and localize expertise to achieve water development and sustainability, attract investments to the water sector, increase local content and localization of water technologies, and achieve integration in the sector. The Forum is an important opportunity to benefit from the local and international experiences in the water sector, learn about successful practices in reaching the best solutions to the challenges facing this sector and developing water projects that meet the needs of the Kingdom. The Forum also provides a platform for water sector's leaders, local and international experts, developers, investors, scientists and researchers in the water sector to meet with the relevant bodies represented by the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture, Saline Water Conversion Corporation, the National Water Company, Water and Electricity Corporation, Saudi Irrigation Organization, and local and international partners from outside the water sector.
