The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, has ordered the annual allocation of SR175 million to purchase desalinated water from mobile stations in order to meet the growing demand for desalinated water in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Minister of Water, Environment and Agriculture Eng. Abdulrahman bin Abdulmohsin Al-Fadhli, who is also Chairman of the Board of Directors of Saline Water Conversion Corporation (SWCC), said that the King's order will contribute to increasing SWCC supply of desalination water in a short time, until the completion of SWCC's projects which are under construction currently, pointing out that these mobile stations will be used to increase water supply in some areas of the Kingdom. The minister thanked the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and HRH the Crown Prince for their continuous support for water desalination projects.
