Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues on local, regional, and international arenas. Al-Riyadh newspaper said in its editorial that Saudi-Pakistani relations have long been linked to religious and strategic integration and harmony, noting that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is an Islamic leader, and Pakistan is an important hub in South Asia, and both countries have influential roles in the international community. The newspaper pointed out that in the light of developments in the region and the emergence of Iran as a negative party, the Kingdom and Pakistan are facing a larger role that requires confronting the terrorist threat being posed by Iran. Al-Yaum and Okaz newspapers said in their editorials that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has inaugurated a number of vital projects at a total cost of SR 82 billion. The newspapers pointed in this regard to 1281 projects covering all sectors of public services of education, health, roads, housing and others, in the context of the sustainable development within the framework of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
