Al-Yaum and Al-Riyadh newspapers said in their editorials that launching the project of King Abdullah Port by HRH Crown Prince refers to the determination to implement the Kingdom's Vision 2030 with all its details and mega projects to promote development plans in various areas. The newspapers noted that the project of King Abdullah Port is operated and managed by the private sector, and the government has given full confidence to the private sector to play its vital roles in developing these plans. The newspapers indicated that this launching came days after the launch of the National Industrial Development and Logistics Program by HRH Crown Prince, which aims to transform the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia into a leading industrial power and a global platform for logistics. The newspapers pointed to the importance of the port, as the second largest shipping line in the world, and serves the world's largest continents. The newspapers noted that this project will start a new phase of economic recovery and contribute to the Kingdom's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) ratio.
