Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Okaz newspaper said in its editorial that the General Auditing Bureau has achieved a qualitative leap this year by collecting a total amount of SR 9 billion, an increase of four times more than the previous fiscal year. Al-Riyadh newspaper commented in its editorial on the financial sector development program, which is one of the operational programs launched by Economic Affairs and Development Council, saying that the Kingdom's vision 2030 targets to develop the financial sector to be diversified and effective to support the development of the national economy, stimulate savings, finances and investment, and increase its efficiency to meet and address the challenges. The newspaper added that the banks integration turned into a global phenomenon under the large expansion of domestic and global lending. On another international topic, Al-Yaum newspaper said that the Advanced Operations Center of Hodeidah axis has monitored (63) violations of Stockholm agreements so far, and these violations were committed by Iran-backed Houthi militias within three days of the truce.
