The Secretary-General of the Muslim World League (MWL) Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa met, separately, here today with a number of American officials; Senator from Texas Ted Cruz, former Chair of the Senate Homeland Security Committee Joseph Lieberman, Democratic Member of House of Representative from California Brad Sherman, and Chief Executive Officer of the Counter Extremist Project Ambassador Mark Wallace. During the meeting, they discussed a number of issues of common interest, especially terrorism, extremism, raising moderations awareness and coexistence, and dialogue between civilizations, as well as bilateral cooperation.
