President of the Republic of South Africa Jacob Zuma received the Secretary General of the Muslim World League, Sheikh Dr. Muhammad bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, who is currently on an official visit to South Africa for several days. The South African President welcomed Dr. Al-Issa in his country and praised the Muslim World League efforts in spreading tolerance, moderation, and in combating extremist ideas. The Secretary General of the Muslim World League and the accompanying delegation thanked with appreciation the President of South Africa for his kind hospitality, and confirmed the MWL readiness to cooperate with South Africa in organizing religious, political, intellectual and cultural events and in conferences, seminars, forums and dialogues. Dr. Al-Issa pointed out that the Muslim World League, by its centers and offices around the world, places top priority in awareness Muslims and educate them about the real values of the Islamic religion, away from any manifestation of terrorism and extremism. He also stressed on the importance of the positive integration of the Muslim communities to be a significant addition to the countries in which they live in, praising the South African model distinguished by mutual awareness.
