His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Vice President of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Defense received here today a telephone call from the UN Secretary-general Antonio Guterres. During the conversation, the UN Secretary-general expressed thanks of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the backup it provides the UN with, to realize positive outcomes for the Yemeni parties' dialogue, in addition to expressing appreciation of HRH Crown Prince for the efforts he exerted, in this regard, too. For his part, HRH Crown Prince reiterated the Kingdom keenness to all that may lead to realize the interests of the Yemeni people as well as the country's security and stability. On the other hand, the UN Secretary-general hailed the Ethiopian-Eritrean peace accord, recently co-signed, in Jeddah, expressing thanks and appreciation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques auspices' of the accord, which has restored the relations between the two countries to its normal course. Guterres also briefed HRH Crown Prince, during the call, on the UN led endeavors exerted towards the regional issues and latest developments.
