The Arab Ministerial Council for Tourism has concluded its 21st session at the headquarters of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport in Alexandria in the presence of Arab Ministers of Tourism and heads of Arab organizations and federations. The President of the Arab Organization for Tourism Dr. Bandar bin Fahd Al Fuhaid said that one of the most important decisions of the Council is the selection of the city of Al-Ahsa as the capital of Arab tourism for the year 2019, and the adoption of the proposed vision of Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to activate the joint action in the sectors of tourism and culture in Arab countries through the initiative of Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the honorary president of Arab Tourism Organization and President of Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage, to find an appropriate mechanism for the convergence between tourism and cultural sectors at Arab levels and use them to serve the inter-Arab tourism.
