The Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport of the Arab League and one of the largest specialized universities in Arab Countries awarded Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, President of the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage (SCTH) the honorary doctorate for his efforts in the development of Arab tourism, aviation and charitable work. This came during the opening ceremony of the 21st Session of the Arab Ministerial Council for Tourism, which was held on Monday in Alexandria, Egypt. Prince Sultan bin Salman thanked the President of the Academy for the honorary doctorate, praising the Academy's high scientific value in the Arab nation based on its mission and vision to achieve leadership, excellence and creativity in the fields of higher education, community service and scientific research.
