The President of Arab Organization for Tourism, Dr. Bandar bin Fahd Al Fuhaid pointed out that the mechanism of selection of Taif as Arab Summer Resort Capital came in accordance with the standards adopted by Arab Tourism Ministers, the members of Executive Office of the Arab Ministerial Council for Tourism of the Arab League, during their meeting held recently in the Kingdom of Bahrain. He noted that Taif had witnessed during the past years many international conventions and conferences in various fields as well as cultural and tourist festivals reflecting its status as a tourist destination. Dr. Al Fuhaid revealed the organization's intention to organize a forum in Taif at the end of the year on tourism development with the participation of a number of Arab countries, as well as Festivals of Arab popular food.
