Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Yaum newspaper commented in its editorial on Arab Tourism Ministerial Council's decision on selecting Al-Ahsa city as the capital of Arab tourism for 2019, saying that Al-Ahsa ancient city enjoys unique tourist attractions, and it has renaissance encompassing its various development facilities in the era of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. Okaz and Al-Riyadh newspapers said in their editorials that the initiative of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to enhance security, as well as investment and development in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden charted a new map for stability in the region. They added that the great project announced yesterday at the meeting of foreign ministers of Arab and African countries bordering the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden in Riyadh comes at an important time as it promotes security and stability for the peoples of the region.
