King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy (KACARE) of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has taken part in the "Ministerial Conference on Nuclear Science and Technology 2018" being organized by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in Vienna, Austria. The Conference aimed at raising the level of awareness among the Agency's member States in the areas of industrial, medical, agricultural, environmental and water applications. Participants emphasized the role of the peaceful nuclear energy in driving global economic growth, supporting sustainable development and meeting global energy demand. KACARE President Dr. Khalid bin Saleh Al-Sultan stressed the importance of learning from the experience of experts and specialists from the world's leading countries in the nuclear energy sector and its great benefits in the development of the Saudi National Atomic Energy Program.
