Minister of Finance Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Jadaan participated, in the G20 Investor Forum, organized by the World Bank Group on Thursday 29 November 2018, in collaboration with the Argentine Presidency of the G20, on the sidelines of the G20 Summit held, in Buenos Aires, form 30 November to 1 December 2018, Around 70 participants, including some G20 leaders, finance ministers of the Group, a number of global institutional investors and senior executives of development financing institutions, are attending the forum. The Forum aimed to discuss ways to enhance cooperation among institutional investors and governments to motivate long-term sustainable investments, in the G20 markets and around the world. It focuses on the role of adopting policies, public-private partnerships and financial innovation role, in promoting long-term sustainable investments, as well as discussing the challenges and obstacles facing these investments, and ways to address them. Addressing the forum, the Minister of Finance said that this forum provides policymakers, regulators, investors and international financial institutions with a unique opportunity to engage, in direct talks on long-term sustainable investment. Al-Jadaan concluded by reviewing the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's efforts to realize economic reforms aimed at achieving the Kingdom Vision 2030, pointing out that the implementation of these reforms supports sustainable economic growth and activates the role of the private sector, in jobs' creation and economic growth.
