Minister of Finance Mohammed Al-Jaddan will participate in the first G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors Meeting under the Argentina Presidency in Buenos Aires. The meeting will take place on 19th and 20th March 2018, with the aim of reviewing the recent global economic developments and strengthening the cooperation between the G20 countries to maintain and promote the global growth. During the two-day meeting, Minister Al-Jadaan will participate in sessions covering a wide range of themes from the Global Economic Developments to International Financial Architecture, Financial Regulations, Infrastructure, International Tax, and Anti-Money Laundering and Countering of Terrorist Financing (AML/CFT). Minister of Finance Mohammed Al-Jadaan commented: "As a member of G20, Saudi Arabia takes its regional and international responsibilities very seriously especially given our nation's pivotal role on the regional and global levels. Our participation in this meeting demonstrates our commitment to cooperation and coordination among G20 countries to promote inclusive and sustainable global growth. "The meeting will provide an opportunity to discuss the subjects listed on the meeting's agenda with our key partners around the globe, and also update them on Saudi Arabia's experiences in the financial and economic reforms, as well as the overall development progress made by the Kingdom in different sectors," he added.
