Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Jadaan, Minister of Finance, will lead the Saudi delegation participating in the annual IMF and World Bank meetings, which will be held in the Indonesian city of Bali from 11-14 October 2018. The Saudi delegation includes Mohammed bin Mazid Al Twaijri, Minister of Economy and Planning, Dr. Ahmed bin Abdul Kareem Al Khulaifi, Governor of the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency, and Dr. Dr. Khalid bin Sulaiman Al-Khudairy, Vice President and Managing Director of the Saudi Fund for Development. Minister Al-Jadaan will lead the Kingdom's delegation to the 38th IMF International Monetary and Financial Committee meeting which is scheduled to discuss the world economic developments, risks to global economic growth, and cooperation in fiscal and monetary policies. Al-Jadaan will also head the Kingdom's delegation to the 98th World Bank Group's Development Committee meeting set to discuss the Human Capital Project, Bali Fin-Tech and debts in emerging and low-income countries. On the sidelines of the IMF and World Bank meetings, a G-20 finance ministers and central banks governors meeting will take place. The meeting will include a review of the latest developments in the global economy and a discussion on the international financial architecture flexibility and infrastructure financing. Moreover, Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Jadaan, Minister of Finance, will participate in the joint meetings of IMF Director General with Middle East & North Africa Governors and the World Bank President with Arab States Governors to discuss Bank's relation to the countries of the region and ways to enhance it. The Kingdom's participation in these meetings is a continuation of its active and constructive role in the global economy and the international financial agenda.
