Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' Speech before Shura: Consistent Approach to Challenges, Comprehensive Vision for Development Policies, Minister of Media Comments
Minister of Media Dr. Awwad bin Saleh Al-Awwad praised the extensive contents, in the speech of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to Shura Council here today, as he opens the workings of the 3rd year of the 7th session of the Council. In a press statement, following the inauguration, the minister said that the royal speech is characterized by comprehensiveness of all walks of life that of concern to the Saudi citizen as well as the society, and that it carried lofty contents, including adherence to the method, in accordance with the Islamic law, which God cherishes this country, with. "The Saudi citizen is the main drive of development and its effective tools and the young men and women of this country are the pillars of achievement and hope for the future", he stated, adding that the Saudi woman is a partner with full rights, according to our tolerant law. He explained that the state's positions and consistent and balanced approach to the challenges, in the region, and various current issues on Islamic, Arab and international arenas, have had a strong presence, in the speech of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, who reaffirmed that "the Kingdom will continue its efforts to deal with the crises of the region". Dr. Al-Awwad pointed out that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, honors the inauguration of the Shura Council, on an annual basis, as he attends it and delivers a speech which is an embodiment and affirmation of the attention and care accorded to the Council by the King and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the Crown Prince, a fact that contributes to the achievements of the Council and its progress in decision-making, in addition to provide national initiatives to promote achievements of sustainable and balanced development, in various fields. He described the contents of the royal speech as a road map and a working mechanism, not only for the Shura Council, but also as an approach that guides all sectors of the state, officials and citizens, in line with our country's vision of development, in all fields. Minister Al-Awwad pointed to the importance of the royal speech, in analyzing its contents, in accordance with the aspirations of the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and HRH the Crown Prince to serve as guidance and reference to the foundations of work and systematic management, at home and abroad, as well as at the level of the private and government sectors development of all members of the society, in a way that preserves our national heritage. The minister reaffirmed that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques has stressed that "the state is continuing its plans to complete the development of the governance of state organs and institutions to ensure the safety of enforcement of laws and regulations and to avoid any excesses or errors." Al-Awwad concluded his statement, calling on God to preserve this country, its leaders and perpetuate on it and its citizens the blessing of security and safety, and exalt it under the wisdom of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and HRH Crown Prince.
