The Yemeni army made further progress on the ground, in battles against al-Houthi militias, in western Taiz. A Yemeni military source said that the army's forces were able to regain more positions from the grip of al-Houthi militia, in the districts of Mukabna and Jabal Habashi, west of Taiz province. The source added, in a statement to the Media Center of the Yemeni Armed Forces, that the progress was made following an attack by the army, that targeted the positions of al-Houthi militias, in the area of Ashruh of Jebel Habashi, west of Taiz and was able to liberate the villages of Madafin, al-Qaeda, al-Qawz and parts of Jabal Aqab, overlooking the supply line of the militias. Yemeni army forces liberated the towns of Saada, Al-Ra'i and Qouz village, south of the Qahban district, too, meanwhile battles are still raging, amid the Yemeni army steady moving forward, on the battle-grounds.
