The Yemeni army made new advances on the ground as part of its battles against the Iran-backed Houthi militias in northern Luhaj and southern Taiz. A field source said the army, supported by the Arab Coalition, has controlled strategic heights northern Luhaj and southern Taiz governorate. The source added that the army liberated Al-Marham area located within the heights between Al-Shareeha and Al-Rahda towns. Capt. Mohammed Al-Naqeeb said the army forces has completely purified the strategic mountain of Shefan and is making advances towards Al-Lasb area in the vicinity of Al-Rahda and was able to liberate Al-Gardoaf five heights overlooking the road linking Al-Rahda and Al-Shareeha towns.
