The First Conference of the Arabian Journal of Geosciences kicked off today in Hammamet, Tunisia, with participation of 20 keynote speakers, 50 discussion sessions' heads, and more than 700 international researchers representing 72 countries. The conference was attended by diplomatic figures, including Saudi Ambassador to Tunisia Mohammed bin Mahmoud Al-Ali, and a number of academics and specialists in the field of geology. President of the Saudi Society for Geosciences and Editor in Chief of the Journal Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Amry assured in his opening speech the importance of the Conference, as it will discuss the study of geosciences at different educational levels, and the study of new systems of geographic, geological and geophysical information.
