His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Vice President of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Defense has issued his directives to rehabilitate and renovate 130 historical mosques within the framework of Program for Reconstruction of Historical Mosques. The program is being supervised by Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage (SCTH) in partnership with the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance. HRH Crown Prince's support within "Mohammed bin Salman Project for Development of Historical Mosques" included in its first phase the rehabilitation of 30 mosques in 10 regions across the Kingdom at a total cost of more than SR 50 millions. It is worth mentioning that the Program of Reconstruction of Historical Mosques is considered as one of several programs adopted by Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the President of SCTH and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Al-Turath Heritage Foundation.
