His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Vice President of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Defense, visited here today Al-Azhar Grand Mosque. Upon arrival, HRH the Crown Prince was received by President Abdulfattah Al-SIsi of the Arab Republic of Egypt and Sheikh of Al-Azhar Dr. Ahmad Al-Taib. HRH the Crown Prince inaugurated rehabilitation of the Al-Azhar Mosque after its completion which was supported by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques the late King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud with the support of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. The Egyptian President and HRH the Crown Prince performed two Rak'ahs (optional prayer). HRH the Crown Prince was briefed on the rehabilitation phase which is considered the biggest and expansionist development process for Al-Azhar Mosque throughout history.
