The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) strongly condemned the terrorist bombings that hit today the Somali capital Mogadishu and resulted in killing and wounding a number of people. The organization reiterated its position of rejection and denunciation of all forms of violent extremism and terrorism. The OIC Secretary General, Dr. Yousef bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen, condemned the explosions as a criminal act aimed at destabilizing security and stability in Somalia, stressing the Organization's full solidarity with the Somali government in its war against terrorism. He extends his deepest condolences to the families of the victims and to the Somali Government and people, wishing the wounded a speedy recovery.
