Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has strongly condemned the recent suicide attack on a mosque in northeastern Nigeria that killed at least eight people and wounded several others. OIC Secretary-General Dr. Yousef bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen expressed solidarity with Nigeria in its battle against terrorism and extremism, stressing the position of the organization against all forms of terrorism and extremism, reiterating its call for international solidarity to face this scourge. Al-Othaimeen offered condolence to the families of the victims, the Nigerian government and people, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
