Saudi Grains Organization has completed procedures for tenders to import an amount of 1,020,000 tons of fodder barley from origins of European Union, Australia, North and South America (excluding Canada) and Black Sea as the seventh batch contracted within this year. The Organization's Governor Engineer Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Al-Faris pointed out in statement today that suppling fodder barley shipments will be on board 17 vessels distributed through the Kingdom's ports on the Red Sea and the Arabian Gulf, during the period of January-February 2019. He pointed out that this seventh batch comes as an extension of a plan to cover the local demand for fodder barley and preserve its strategic stocks.
