Minister of Commerce patronizes SMIIC General Assembly

Minister of Commerce and Investment Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi will patronize in Makkah tomorrow the 13th General Assembly of the Istanbul-based Standards and Metrology Institute for Islamic Countries (SMIIC), with participation of a number of heads of standardization bodies in Islamic countries and a number of representatives of relevant regional organizations.
The Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO) praised the Minister's patronage for SMIIC activities and events, stressing that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's chairmanship of SMIIC Board of Directors for 2018 - 2020 represents a new beginning towards enhancing the effective cooperation among the Islamic countries.
