The meetings of the Saudi-Egyptian Commerce Mission, organized by Saudi Export Development Authority (Saudi Exports), started here today, with the participation of 60 Saudi companies and 28 Egyptian companies relating to food and building materials sectors. This move comes within the framework of the programs and services provided by the Saudi Exports to the local companies in order to achieve the objectives of promoting Saudi products and services in the international markets, and in order to help the local exporters to open new markets for their products. Secretary General of Saudi Export Development Authority Eng. Saleh Al-Solami said that the Saudi Exports is interested in promoting commercial and economic relations and investment cooperation between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Arab Republic of Egypt, stressing the depth of the Saudi-Egyptian relationship. "The volume of non-petroleum commercial exchange between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Egypt amounted to more than 11 billion SR in 2017, the Kingdom's exports to Egypt amounted to 5 billion SR, and the Saudi imports from Egypt amounted to around 6 billion SR", Eng. Al-Solami said. For his part, Head of the Egyptian Commerce Attaché in Riyadh Dr. Yahya Halim pointed out to the depth of the Saudi-Egyptian relations, adding that the partnership between the two countries increased to unprecedented levels.
