An Egyptian trade delegation headed by Chairman of the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones, Assem Ragab met at Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry here today a number of Saudi businessmen and specialized companies. During the meeting, Ragab emphasized that the trade exchange between Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Egypt has witnessed a huge growth resulting from the attention paid by the two governments, calling on Saudi businessmen to benefit from the investment opportunities available in Egypt in the areas of infrastructure, light industry and various agricultural services. For his part, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Abdulrahman bin Ali Al-Jeraisi explained that the investment opportunities are available in both countries. "In light of the attention of the two leaderships, investment opportunities are available and will be further developed in the future" Al-Jeraisi said, calling on Egyptian businessmen to enhance their investments in the Kingdom. It is worth mentioning that the volume of trade exchange between the Kingdom and Egypt amounted to $ 2.7 billion last year, while Saudi investments in Egypt amounted to $ 2.8 billion, and the joint Egyptian investments in the Kingdom amounted to SR 5.440 billion. The Egyptian share is SR 2.140 billion.
