Dr. Khalil bin Musleh Al-Thaqafi, President of the General Authority of Meteorology and Environmental Protection (PME), chaired the Kingdom's delegation to the 55th executive office's meeting of the Arab Environment Ministers Council held in Cairo. In his speech before the meeting, Dr. Al-Thaqafi affirmed that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has taken a number of decisions, programs and projects aiming at raising the level of environmental action and adherence to the standards and development partnerships that ensure sustainable development and a positive impact on the country and citizens in pursuit of the goals of the Kingdom Vision 2030. The meeting aims to discuss issues pertaining to the environment and sustainable development in the Arab region.
