MWL: The Kingdom's honorable history in the record of international peace and cooperation testifies to its pioneering status; the animous campaign it now witnesses threatens all dimensions of international stability
Published in Saudi Press Agency on 14 - 10 - 2018

The Muslim World League (MWL) has condemned the attempts to target the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's international and Islamic leadership by waving economic sanctions, using political pressure, and repeating false accusations, citing that The Kingdom's honorable history in the record of international peace and cooperation testifies to its pioneering status.
In a statement issued by the MWL today, Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Isa, MWL Secretary General and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the International Organization of Muslim Scholars, affirmed that the pioneering position of the Kingdom is achieved through launching dozens of international peace and security initiatives, confirming a categorical rejection of any threats against the Kingdom.
Sheikh Al-Isa pointed out the Saudi vital and historic role in the Arab and Islamic worlds through enhancing security, stability and prosperity in the region and the world in addition to the Kingdom's leadership in combatting terrorism and extremism, enhancing economic cooperation and consolidating peace and stability in the region and the world.
He asserted that the Kingdom occupies a great place in the conscience of the Arab and Islamic nation, disclosing that the animous campaign Saudi Arabia now witnesses threatens all political and economic dimensions of international stability.
The MWL Secretary General added that provoking the Kingdom is a provocation to the feelings of hundreds of millions of Muslims who stand with the Kingdom based on their belief in its efficiency of taking care of the Islamic sanctities and carrying out its duties towards the Islamic nation.
He affirmed the full support of the Islamic action leaders around the world for the Kingdom against this misleading campaign.
He concluded that the MWL fully supports the stance of the Saudi government under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince, Vice President of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Defense.
