Speaker of the Shura Council Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh has emphasized that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, looks forward to a world of security, peace, justice, stability, economic prosperity and sustainable development, requiring concerted efforts at regional and international levels to achieve greater understanding and cooperation in confronting the threats and dangers that threaten the entire world and enhancing security and stability in the region. This came in a press statement made by Dr. Al Al-Sheikh on the occasion of the visits to be paid by President of the United States of America, Donald Trump; leaders of Arab and Islamic countries; participants in the 17th consultative meeting of leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) for Arab States; GCC-US Summit and Arab-Islamic-US Summit.. He said that the Kingdom's hosting of these important summits embodies the Kingdom's position in the Islamic world and its influential role at the international arena as well as in promoting stability in the region.
