Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Youm newspaper in its editorial entitled ''Qatar and playing on worn ropes'' attacked the Qatari regime claiming that the Kingdom politicizes Hajj and prevents Qatari pilgrims from performing Hajj rituals because of their government, citing the Kingdom's rejection of this cheap method, stressing that the Kingdom recognizes that the Qatari people are brotherly and administered by a leadership of mercenaries who have sold themselves to the devil. On a related topic, Al-Riyadh newspaper attacked Al-Jazeera's Qatari channel for fabricating news to beautify the image of Qatar, citing in this regard that Germany denied statements attributed by Qatari media to the German defense minister, in addition to an American astonishment of a talk by the Qatari Ministry of Defense about an agreement with Washington to expand AlUdeid airbase in Qatar, noting that public relation campaigns have cost Qatar's treasury billions of dollars without achieving any success, as it has pursued the way of supporting terrorism, hosting its symbols and interfering in internal affairs of others.
