Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of topics and issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Sharq and Al-Youm newspapers commented on the politicization of Hajj, saying while the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is trying to facilitate pilgrims situations to perform their Hajj rituals away from any problems or troubles that may happen to them during Hajj, and while the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud directs all officials concerning with Hajj season to facilitate all Hajj matters for pilgrims of the Grand Holy Mosque, we find that Iran is trying hard to politicize Hajj and not to commit to Saudi laws that try as much as possible to protect pilgrims with all their nationalities and sectarian affiliations. The newspapers pointed out that with the approach of each Hajj season, those officials responsible for Hajj Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran return to put obstacles preventing Iranian pilgrims from coming to perform Hajj rituals, indicating in this regard that the Iranian delegation refused to sign the minutes of the arrangements of Iran's pilgrims similar to other pilgrims from different countries of the world in a desperate attempt from the Iranian government to politicize Hajj. --More
