GCC Mission Participates in Third Review Conference of UN Programme of Action to Prevent, Combat and Eradicate Illicit Trade in Small Arms and Light Weapons

Consultant Faisal bin Rashid AL-Kuwari and Abdulmajeed bin Saleh Al-Mandeel of the GCC permanent mission to UN in Vienna, participated in the Third Review Conference of the United Nations Programme of Action to Prevent, Combat and Eradicate the Illicit Trade in Small Arms and Light Weapons which which was held at the United Nations headquarters in New York from 18 to 29 June 2018.
The conference falls within the efforts made in conjunction with other conventions, treaties and conferences to reduce this phenomenon in light of the negative effects of the light restrictions on trade in small arms around the world which contributes to the increase of crime and terrorism.
