The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) commended a statement issued by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, which included the completion of all arrangements for the arrival of about 18 thousand pilgrims from Syrian nationality, accompanied by 850 members of the medical and administrative staff, at the office of pilgrims affairs, in Syria, and completing all arrangements for the services and needs of Syrian pilgrims, in Makkah, Madinah and other Holy Places, and for the full number coming to perform the Hajj season of Year 1439 AH, confirming that these efforts are not surprising to Syrian pilgrims or the others. The Secretary-General of the OIC Dr. Yousef bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen said that the government of Saudi Arabia acts to facilitate pilgrimage and access to holy sites for all Muslims, without discrimination, is a consistent principle that the Kingdom Saudi Arabia (KSA) has followed, since its establishment, praising the feelings and destination of pilgrims, mini-pilgrimage doers or Umrah, and visitors who come from all countries, sects as they got a great interest from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, HRH Crown Prince and all the Saudi government agencies, senior officials. He praised the completion of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah arrangements for the performance of Hajj, for pilgrims from more than 80 countries, in agreement with the parties concerned with the Hajj in those countries, to organize the arrival of nearly two million pilgrims for the season of the Year 1439 AH Hajj and prayed to Almighty God to guide pilgrims, assist them and accept their pilgrimage.
