As many as 54 vessels transited the Suez Canal today, with a total cargo of 3,800,000 tons. The north-bound convoy included 23 vessels laden with 1,300,000 tons while the south-bound convoy included 31 vessels carrying 2,500,000 tons, according to a statement by the Suez Canal Authority.
