As many as 42 vessels transited the Suez Canal today, with a total cargo of 3,300,000 tons. The north-bound convoy included 20 vessels laden with 1,500,000 tons while the south-bound convoy included 22 vessels carrying 1,800,000 tons, according to a statement by the Suez Canal Authority.
