As many as 49 vessels transited the Suez Canal today, with a total cargo of 3,000,000 tons. The north-bound convoy included 23 vessels laden with 1,300,000 tons while the south-bound convoy included 26 vessels carrying 1,700,000 tons, according to a statement by the Suez Canal Authority.
