Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Riyadh and Okaz newspapers commented on Saudi-US relations, saying that anyone contemplating the contents of the joint press conference held by Foreign Ministers of the Kingdom and the United States of America will see identical views and positions on all files pertaining to the interests of the two countries. The paper pointed out that this consensus, which reached an advanced stage between the two countries, confirms that the historic visit of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Vice President of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Defense to America recently has upgraded relations to an advanced stage of mutual coordination and interests at all levels in security, political, economic, cultural and educational domains. The paper noted that the Kingdom is the heart of Arab and Muslim worlds and the largest economic and political force in the region, and the United States of America is the superpower whose interests are spread all over the world, and when they reach this common coordination, it means that Saudi foreign policy has become a key architect and not only a pivotal player in the Middle East decision-making.
